The General Assembly
The General Assembly is the highest decision making body of ANCB which is comprised of all member NGOs & takes place quarterly every year. The general assembly has the following responsibilities:

Reiterating, describing, converting and canceling all decisions taken by the Board of Directors between the two General Assemblies.

Determination and approval of major aspects of ANCB's work and activities.

The right to elect new members to the Board of Directors.

Listing and evaluating the report of the Board of Directors.

Approval/disapproval of new members of the Board of Directors considering the majority votes of General Assembly members.

Canceling the membership of the member organization.
-
No confidence move against the chairman & board of directors.
ANCB General Assembly is holding for delivering ANCB progressive reports, financial report and reflecting the activities of member NGOs delivering reports and information of the other organizations including the government organizations, donor agencies, national and international NGOs and the other resources that are working for reconstruction and development process of Afghanistan.
General Assembly sessions are conducted four times a year after each three months. Its extra ordinary sessions can be conducted on the basis of the decisions of the Board of Directors. Therefore such sessions can be held on the written request of member NGOs.
ANCB General Assembly sessions are being held when the majority of member NGOs are present. These sessions take place in a very democratic manner, while delivering the votes are completely confidential.
The elections for the chairman and members of BOD for the each next year are held in the fourth & last General Assembly of year.
