The workshop started at 02:00 P.M with the recitation of a few verses of the Holy Quran. At first the project manager (Presenter) introduced himself and the staff. Before the participants introduction the PM also talked about the project, its goals and objectives in brief and then every participant introduced himself.
After the introductory session was finished, a pre test, to find out participant consensus about corruption, its causes and consequences, was taken. It was designed to be done as group work. In each group two participants were chosen, one to collect ideas and write them on the flip charts and second one a group leader and presenter. All the participants were enthusiastically participating in the group work.
Latterly, of the workshop as promised earlier there was an open discussion session, second group work and a post test. All the participants shared their ideas in group works. They were insisting that besides government practical steps in curbing corruption public awareness is a must. The following are the ideas they presented regarding public awareness during the workshop.

The Afghan NGO Coordination Bureau (ANCB) was founded in 1991 as a network of national NGOs in Afghanistan coordinating the activities among its members, with the Government, International organizations, UN and donor agencies.
ANCB strives to enhance the capacity of its member organizations through workshops, seminars, as well as building partnerships with other organizations for the enhancement of technical capacity.

The General Assembly is the highest decision making body of ANCB which iscomprised of all member NGOs & takes place quarterly every year. The general assembly has the following responsibilities:
Reiterating, describing, converting and canceling all decisions taken by the Board of Directors between the two General Assemblies.
Determination and approval of major aspects of ANCB's work and activities.
The right to elect new members to the Board of Directors.
Listing and evaluating the report of the Board of Directors.
Approval/disapproval of new members of the Board of Directors considering the majority votes of General Assembly members.
Canceling the membership of the member organization.
No confidence move against the chairman & board of directors.
